Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon 2011 (III)

The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon 2011 will be held from March 17 to 20 at the Monument Alaf Baru area in Presint 2. The theme for this third events is 1 World, 1 Malaysia , 1 Fiesta and about 20 participants from 13 country is expected to take part in this events. The participants are from Malaysia, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

Five baloons which can accomodate two people for five minutes rides will be available for public from 8am to 11 am, and 6pm to 9pm daily during the fiesta. Fee of RM10 for adults and RM5 for children will be charged.

Additional activities including helicopter rides, car simulator, archery, flea market tasik cruise, colouring competition(for children) water ball and many more is expected to attract more visitor this year.

THE Karnival “WOW” Putrajaya 2011 (2nd)

The "WOW" putrajaya carnival is on again for the second time. This events will be held on the 11 to 13 February 2011 and it is expected to be bigger than the previous events as Putrajaya is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a federal administrative capital. During this events, Visitors will be able to witness the “1 Dekad Kecemerlangan” exhibition which will provide detailed information of a 10-year journey into the development of the city.

One of the main objectives of this event is to introduce Putrajaya as a tourist destination and to showcase the city as a “City of Lights”.

There will be a non-stop entertainment and activities during this three days event.
